Christmas in McKinney
We traveled to McKinney for Christmas and the drive there wasn't bad til we hit Texas. We left Wednesday morning at 3:15am and got in around 7:45, we hit some crazy weather in Tyler where there was a tornado!

Saturday night we went out to dinner to Craft in downtown Dallas and then headed out for a few drinks with Melissa. We had a blast catching up!!

Painting and Presents
We had paint samples like this on every wall downstairs, the lighting in each room is so different. Every time we thought we found the one we loved it ended up looking totally different, but we decided on a color and Sean and I love the finished result.
Earlier this week I painted the downstairs bathroom, the color of it goes along with everything so well, I love how bold and rich it is!
Friday, Grandma and Ducky came up to paint the downstairs. I couldn't believe how quick they were done, it only took them 4 1/2 hours! We have one wall that is darker then the rest and it matches with the entry wall. We are so happy with it! I started packing for our road trip to Texas so once it's all cleaned up (Tuesday) I'll post pictures!
After painting we had a "Christmas dinner" and open presents, the kids were super excited to get a work bench like Grandma's!

Saturday morning we got up and went to St Augustine's Winter Wonderland, the website looked pretty fun, sleigh rides, bounce houses, polar express train ride, elf land, s'mores. That was not the case when we got there, half of the activities were closed and the train is the same train we ride around at the Town Center. Santa didn't even show up! I was very disappointed! But the kids had fun running around and seeing frosty the snowman.
We went to the McKean's yesterday to Celebrate Mrs. McKean's birthday. We had a delicious dinner and desert and opened more presents. We got a ton of goodies!! It's like Christmas every day in our house, we have already opened a few other gifts so we don't have to bring them with us. It's so much fun!

Thanksgiving
We started our Thanksgiving with Libbie's baptism, it was a nice and quick ceremony.(Which was great because we had all 3 toddlers there!) She was such a good girl through the whole things, we were very happy to be there and celebrate with her family! Afterwards we all headed over to the McKean's for coffee and treats, it was a pretty relaxing day!
The McKean's fixed an awesome dinner! After putting the kids down we all played some games and had lot's of laughs. It was the perfect Thanksgiving!
Kinley doesn't have a game day outfit for cold days so she wasn't dressed in her usual Saturday attire. But Miss Libbie was ready to watch Tim Tebow's last home game

Painting Updates

Jacksonville Zoo
The Pecks got in town last Wednesday and we have been having some fun! Thursday we took all the kids to my gym, Sunday Kelley, Libbie and Landon came over to play and Monday we all went to the Zoo. We all have a great time together especially Chance,Landon and Kinley, they love running around and playing trains.
Before leaving we stopped by the monkey exhibit, it was an open area where we could look down and watch them. All the kids were out of the strollers running around when K got a hold of Landon's cup that Chance was drinking out of and pushed it over the edge. Right went the cup hit the ground the monkeys ran for it. After we all realized it Chance started crying for his cup, telling the monkey's "No,my juice" he was pretty devastated! Poor guy, he still brings it up to me about how the monkey's took his cup!

Veggie Lover
I have been pretty busy painting the kids room and bathroom.Kids room is done, woohoo! I have a little left of the bathroom to do so this weekend I will post pictures. Our house is turning into a cozy home!
The other night we had salad with our dinner and Chance wanted to try some. He ended up loving it, he asked for more and wanted a salad the next night! I can't believe how much Chance loves veggies, Monday night he ate turkey chili and steamed green beans! I'm so proud of him, he will always try something new! Kinley knows what she likes so she isn't as willing to taste different foods, but I will keep trying!

Air Show
On Saturday we went to the Air show at the beach, every year I have always wanted to go so I was super excited to experience it with the kids.
Chance was having the time of his life, he would wave high to the pilots, dance and sometimes lay back in the stroller and watch the planes go by.
Kinley didn't really enjoy the show, I think she has really sensitive ears because the poor girl was screaming and hiding her face in me. I felt so bad for her, but surprisingly she fell alseep during the blue angels.
Blue Angels! I'm fascinated with planes so this was a big treat for all of us! I definitely want to go next year!
