MS and March of Dimes

I have reached my MS fundraising goal! Woohoo! Thanks Pecks, Brian and Debbie and Heather!! I have been training for the big day, I'm up to running 4 miles at a nice pace. The girls from work are doing it also so I have lots of motivation and work out buddies. In April Sean, the kids and I are doing March of Dimes, it's only a 5k and you can walk so we are going to push the babes in the stroller. We are pretty excited to participate because it's a great cause close to our hearts. Kinley and Chance were premature and spent 2 weeks in the NICU so anyway we can help others in the same situation we want to! So if you were going to donate to MS here is another opportunity to donate to a great cause! :)

10k Mud Run!

Sunday it was perfect weather for us to walk on the trails near our house! At the end it became quite the workout for Sean and I since the kids wanted us to carry them!


I have joined a team for the mud run!! I'm so excited, it's a 10k with boot camp style obstacles! I will be going to the gym everyday til March 20th! I need to raise $100 for MS so any little amount you can donate would be much appreciated! Chili Cook Off

We had a very fun weekend full of tons of food! Saturday Sean and I went to Capital Grille and it was awesome, the calamari was one of the best we have ever had and the steaks were cooked perfectly, I tried to be good but everything was so delicious. Sunday we went to a chili cook off at church with Sean's parents and our friend Andy. There was 14 different chilies and they gave you a good amount to try each. Some were a little painful to try like the pineapple and ham chili, squash and giant leaves were in one and one person forgot to plug in their crock pot. We were all pretty stuffed afterwards! Once we got home a few friends came over to indulge in more food for the super bowl. I will be working out a ton this week!

Well a lot has happened since the last time I posted, hints why I haven't been making updates. I started a job at the YMCA 2 weeks ago and love it! It's so nice to get out of the house for a few hours and get a free membership! While I'm at work Sean's with the kids and he is doing an amazing job! He already does so much and to give me the opportunity to go to work every morning is so awesome! He seriously is one of a kind! Since we now have a membership at the Y we go daily, it's time where the kids get away from us and we get time to ourselves. I want the kids to become more independent since we are looking at preschools for the Fall. We are touring one tomorrow and Thursday. The one on Thursday is a Christian school so I think I'm leaning more towards that one.

Kinley also has started going pee pee and poop poop in the potty, it hasn't happened every time but we are working on it. I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks we have it down!

The kids have been asking to go to Chuck E Cheese a lot lately so we took them Saturday around noon. Not the smartest thing we have ever thought of! After we walked up a very long line formed and birthday parties were everywhere. It was a rainy day too so kids were crazy! But Kinley and Chance were so good, and they had a lot of fun. After 45 minutes of hundred kids screaming we left! I don't think I would attempt to go there without someone with me, it's madness!!

After Chuck E Cheese we went to a very yummy Mexican restaurant, Chance ate a whole beef taco and rice. I was so impressed and of course they both devoured the chips! We will be having more mexican nights at our house.
