Our 2nd Christmas was a blast! We woke up bright and early to open up gifts with grandma and aunt Heather. My pictures didn't turn out very well from the morning because I was using my old camera but the 2nd round of Christmas gifts I got a new camera! So the pictures below are from my new camera!!

Kinley was not a fan of Santa nor his elves! They took her pacifier then gave her a ball to stop crying then took the ball from her... hints why she is not so happy in the picture.

I tried to get some Christmas pictures outside but once again Kinley would not have it! This picture is the only one out of 50 that turned out. She realized she was wearing her adorable tutu and hated it! I told the fashion police (jessica) this horrible news and her response "WHAT?? This is not allowed!" Exactly what I was thinking, how could a girl not love a tutu!

It gets better, so I changed her and tried to get her to wear reindeer antlers (apparently I'm a very mean mommy)

A few things we have been up to!

Technology has not been my friend lately! I haven't been able to update the blog these past couple of weeks because I left my cords in Duck, NC. Then Chance decided to drop my camera spliting it in pieces during my girlfriends wedding! The camera will still take a picture but the screen doesn't work and the pictures are a little blurry. Yesterday the computer kept shutting down everytime I uploaded a picture. So my apologies for no recent updates, it seems tonight everything is working! Woowhoo! So here's a few pictures from the past 2 weeks

Chance is my Mr. Clean! He loves to do everything mommy does, his favorite thing to help me with is sweeping!

Kinley on the other hand will take everything out and throw it as far away from where it's suppose to be.

This week I have started to notice Kinley and Chance playing with more gender specific toys.... Other than Chance with his beloved vaccum, he loves to play with cars and trucks and Princess Kinley loves to walk around with her purse on her arm to "talk" on her play phone. It's funny how you can give a girl a phone and a boy a truck and they know that toy is just for them!

Family and Friends in Virginia

On our way up to see Kelley, Andrew and Landon we stopped to see my nana in Fredericksburg,VA, she knitted both kids adorable sweaters and made kinley a game day tutu! I'm very excited to take pictures Saturday for the big game!

After we left Nana we had a 30 minute drive to see Kelley,Andrew and Landon, I was very excited! Landon is only 6 weeks younger then K&C so I couldnt wait to see how they would interact together. Landon was such a sweet boy with Kinley and Chance, he shared all his toys and tried playing with them, unfortuanetly Chance wasn't feeling very friendly. On Saturday we bundled the kids up in coats and hats, luckily Kelley bought the kids super adorable hats so they stayed warm and we toured the national mall in DC. Thank you Peck family for showing us around and letting us stay with yall, we had a great time!


We stopped at a sports bar to watch the Florida game and it was only 5 minutes away from Raquel's house so her and Greg came by... She is a great godmother to Kinley!

Turkey Day

My dad's side of the family was having a reunion/ birthday bash in Duck North Carolina over the Thanksgiving break. It was great to see the whole family, we always have a great time sharing old stories and playing games. We also were celebrating my grandma's 75th birthday, she has an amazing spirit and raised 8 kids plus adptoing one. So I call her weekly for advice!

My Aunt Theresa and K. I love having a huge family, everyone was a huge help with the kids! All the cousins played with Kinley and Chance while I got to play volleyball and take a walk on the beach.
