Green Eggs and Ham

Yesterday the birthday festivities began! We started the day off with some green eggs and ham... we all were a little unsure of the eggs, but they both loved em! During nap time, Tam decorated the cakes and my dad and I finished putting the wagon together. Tammy did an amazing job on the cakes, I attempted to decorate some of Chance's but mine did not look as good as hers... we also did the invitations together, we are very proud of them so be sure to check it out in the picture(it's the shadow box)!

1st Birthday Pictures

Yesterday Jess and I took the kids to get their first professional pictures, I have been holding off because I knew it would be crazy and it definitely was! Individual pictures turned out great but the ones of them together were very difficult to get.I'm pleased with the pictures but I think I'm going to stick to taking their pictures myself for now.

Lately we have been stuck inside all day since the heat is unbearable, this morning there was a nice breeze so we got to go outside for a bit and play. I can't wait til fall

I have been working with the babes on blowing kisses for awhile and both are not interested in it, I bopped my mouth once and Kinley picked it right up!

Bed Time, What a breeze!

There is a bathroom attached to the kids room and I had shut the door for a quick second to hang up their bath towels, Kinley really wanted to come in.



Bed time has always been a little chaotic! Since they were 3 months old we have pretty much had the same night schedule, bath,massage,bottle,bed time. I have tried adding reading time in there but they won't have it...I wanted relaxtion time(massages) to last a little longer but they won. Once they started bathing together it got a little easier but both always knew a bottle was next and they would cry til it was time. Tonight went so well! They played in the bath for a while, brushed their teeth and played til it was time for a bottle. They went down with no tears!! I hope tomorrow night is just as fun!
