Aunt Heather

We spent the weekend in Anna Maria island with family and friends, cooking out and watching fireworks. Kinley loved the beach and water, she is definitlely a florida girl at heart! Chance didn't really like the beach but loved "jumping" in the pool and going for a swim.

A Family Tradition

So it's finally here... the car is packed to the windows, and bottles,toys and baby einstein dvds are all in arms reach from me.(learned from the last road trip) We are ready for our 11 hour road trip to Pensacola, Florida! We are following Grandaddy,Mimi and the boys to Aunt Heather's and all of us are heading to the beach Sunday... WOOO HOOO! Every year my family goes down to Anna Maria island for 4th of July and last year I couldn't go because of my huge buddha(7 months prego) so I'm super excited to be able to go and share our family tradition with Kinley and Chance.

I started thinking about how preggers I was this time last year so I wanted to show pictures... it's crazy that the babes are already 10 months.

This morning our pediatrician called to tell me the whole office was looking at Kinley and Chance's picture in the Mckinney Magazine. I had submitted their picture a month ago and forgot about it, so I was super excited to hear they had made the magazine. By the time I got to work this morning all the ladies had already seen it,never knew so many people read the magazine.There were a bunch at the Y so I took 5 home with me! :) Here is their picture...

This morning Kinley figured out how to clap, so I wanted to record it and show off her new talent, well during the taping I thought I would let her play with a bag with wrapping paper. Little did I know babygirl inherited a horrible phobia from me...not liking presents, good thing we have 2 months to prepare for their 1st birthday!

PJ's Birthday and Race for the Cure

Today PJ is turning the Big 2! Tammy made his cake, she is pretty crafty! Happy Birthday buddy, we love you!

5:45am wake up call



Jess and I took the kids to their first Race for the Cure on Saturday. Prior to having the babes Jess and I were running buddies so we were very excited to get back out there, unfortuantely there wasn't much running. Over 14,000 people particpated and I think we talked to almost half of them, with Kinley's laugh and Chance huge smile we were the show to see!

Watermelon and Pool time

I was a little brave today and put Kinley and Chance in the pool together...with just me! It wasn't as bad as I had imagined. After siting on the island for awhile we went for a swim, trying to prepare them for the beach!

Slumber Party

We stayed the night at Jessica's house for the first time last night, both babes were out by 8 and slept through the night. Horray!!We enjoyed some "mommy time" reading magazines,watching bridezillas, being silly and staying up a little too late...unfortuantely Chance woke up at 5 and was ready to play, Kinley on the other hand slept til 8:45 ;which at that point Chance was ready for his morning nap and so was I!

I have been itching to get back to the Y and work with kids again but didn't want to part with the babes, luckily they allow staff who work in child watch to bring their kids in with them. Free child watch and free gym...Couldn't be any better! Today was pretty slow, so a co-worker and I were having a pretty good time watching Kinley and Chance explore all the new toys.

Two minds are better than one!
