Family and Friends in Virginia

On our way up to see Kelley, Andrew and Landon we stopped to see my nana in Fredericksburg,VA, she knitted both kids adorable sweaters and made kinley a game day tutu! I'm very excited to take pictures Saturday for the big game!

After we left Nana we had a 30 minute drive to see Kelley,Andrew and Landon, I was very excited! Landon is only 6 weeks younger then K&C so I couldnt wait to see how they would interact together. Landon was such a sweet boy with Kinley and Chance, he shared all his toys and tried playing with them, unfortuanetly Chance wasn't feeling very friendly. On Saturday we bundled the kids up in coats and hats, luckily Kelley bought the kids super adorable hats so they stayed warm and we toured the national mall in DC. Thank you Peck family for showing us around and letting us stay with yall, we had a great time!


We stopped at a sports bar to watch the Florida game and it was only 5 minutes away from Raquel's house so her and Greg came by... She is a great godmother to Kinley!

Turkey Day

My dad's side of the family was having a reunion/ birthday bash in Duck North Carolina over the Thanksgiving break. It was great to see the whole family, we always have a great time sharing old stories and playing games. We also were celebrating my grandma's 75th birthday, she has an amazing spirit and raised 8 kids plus adptoing one. So I call her weekly for advice!

My Aunt Theresa and K. I love having a huge family, everyone was a huge help with the kids! All the cousins played with Kinley and Chance while I got to play volleyball and take a walk on the beach.

Now that Chance is on the go it seems like Kinley has an itch to walk. She hasn't seemed interested in it since she knows her biggest fans (grandma and Sean) will always pick her up,but the past two days she has been trying. No worries, no one was injured at the end, they both got back up and laughed some more.

Its starting to feel like Fall out so it was a perfect day for a walk around the lake in downtown Orlando.My sister, Paul and cooper (their dog) met us for some playtime. I love how close we live to each other! We walked through the farmers market but there wasn't anything other than food to buy.. Look at my big boy, he pretty much walks everywhere!

Today I caught Chance walking up to walls and banging his head aganist them.... if that isn't odd enough him and Kinley thinks its the funniest thing. Atleast they are happy kids!

Poor Baby girl,she had such a rough day. Kinley has 5 teeth coming...YES, 5!! So lately she has been a little clingy and moody, and this morning was no exception. She woke up twice in the night (which rarely happens, they are great sleepers 7:40 bedtime 8ish wake up time, I'm extremely lucky) I tried letting her cry it out, thinking it would only be a minute or 2 before she fell back asleep but that didn't happen. She woke up Chance and he thought it was time to get up for the day, he is a morning person. The second he wakes up he is ready to play, which Kinley and I definitely like to take a few extra minutes! So it was a long night... but back to Kinley's rough day, since she was so crabby from lack of sleep she didn't want to play with Chance and I much this morning, so she went to go play by herself in their closest. We took the doors off so she was being supervised :) She likes to climb on top of the toy chest and sit there, somehow getting down she fell and hit her head on the closest door thingy(can't think of the word) She cried for a minute and then was done with me holding her and wanted to play... I feel so bad,and she has the big lip down to make you feel even worse!

Since I was feeling guilty about Kinley's first boo-boo, I thought it would be a fun treat to eat dinner outside. I didn't realize she had lost a shoe until I saw the picture... they are so good at it

This past weekend I went up to Jacksonville for my girlfriends bachelorette party. I left friday night after I put the kids down and most of the 2 and half hour drive I had tears in my eyes from leaving them. It was a much needed me weekend,time to relax, catch up with girlfriends and sleep, but I couldn't wait to get back to Kinley and Chance yesterday.

Today we went to the Alfred Angelo store to try on my beautiful bridemaids dress. Jessica did a great job, I love the color! She had picked out a few dresses for Kinley also but the smallest size they have is a 2t and we are thinking she won't be able to fit in it by April... so the search is on for K! Jess this pic is for you since we can't be in McKinney to show you in person!!

Sorry about the half done post, it took me a few days to catch up. The kids and I had a great 2nd Halloween! We went to my old neighborhood where I use to tricky treat, a few family friends still live there so we spent most the night with them handing out candy.
