Cookies

We made some halloween cookies on Thursday and the kids helped me by putting the sprinkles on top.Kinley figured out that she could eat them before Chance did so she wasn't much into helping.

I liked these pictures of Kinley and Chance so I wanted to share them. Lately the kids have really liked reading time, which I love! They both snuggle up and turn the pages before I'm done reading but its the best feeling to just seat with them.

My friend Kara came in town this week from Chicago for her sisters wedding. I hadn't seen her since my baby shower (last june) so I was very excited to see her! We only got to visit for a short time before both babes became restless for bedtime. Fortuantely Kar has to come back more often since she is getting married here in March! :) Congrats Kristen, I can't wait to see pictures

Big News!!

This past week has been a big one for us, Kinley and Chance are picking up on the sign language, talking and walking!! K is signing milk, please, and more, and is starting to get sorry and momma down. She also said bye-bye for the first time!Chance can also sign milk, but his big accomplishment this week is taking his first steps! It happened yesterday and I totally wasn't prepared to catch it on video. Hopefully he will do again tomorrow so I can get it.

We had a nice relaxing Sunday at the Cummer Museum of art and garden,the kids did pretty well siting in the stroller and looking at paintings. They had a childrens part where Kinley and Chance got to color and explore sulputres. Afterwards we sat in the garden and had lunch by the water, the weather is beautiful right now!

Cowboy Boots

We had got these boots as a gift last year and I just found them, Kinley's are still a little big so I'm looking forward to her being that girl who dresses herself in a princess dress with cowboy boots. She has such a big personality now, I love watching her grow into it. Poor Chance didn't get to wear his boots, his feet are way too wide... for now he will just have to stick to his new balances, luckily those come extra wide!

I'm trying to become more martha stewartie so I tempted to make my first loaf of bread and it turned out perfect! No more brand names... all homemade!
