Jessica comes to visit

Jessica got in Thursday afternoon and we were so excited for her to get here! We spent the afternoon swimming and enjoying the beautiful weather. That night we went out to dinner to this really cute restaurant with live music, we had an awesome time especially when Jess got a hold of the microphone! Everyone enjoyed her singing!

The next day we went to gatorland and saw a few shows, rode the train a few times and feed the barn animals. The kids loved the train ride and barn animals but not so much the snakes and alligators.

Saturday morning we made our way to downtown Orlando for miracle miles, it was an event that benefits the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. This event meant a lot to me since Kinley and Chance were both in the NICU.

We walked past the hospital where they called all the parents to the windows for us to wave at, of course I broke down in tears remembering the days and nights I spent in there. I'm so blessed to have two strong and healthy babies, every year we will be at miracle miles and march of dimes to support our fellow preemie babies!

Gators were playing that evening so of course the babes geared up, Jess and I had a little spirit too, she wore a little blue and I was wearing an orange bow!

UF vs. TN

Sean and I left early Saturday morning for Gainesville, we both were very excited to be back at the home of the Gators! We met up with some friends and enjoyed watching UF win. The kiddos had their game day gear on also and watched the game with grandma. Chance likes saying touchdown and watching the players run around. It was a nice little getaway but we were happy to get back!

Yeah, It's Fall!!

I love Fall! I love the decorations, smells, and weather! Halloween is coming up and I need some help to decide what Kinley and Chance should dress up as, I added a poll for input. If you have any ideas please let me know, I figured this will be the last year I get to choose what they are so I want them to be cutie pooties!! Some of the ideas I got were from twin sites and some I thought fit their personalities (pebbles and bam bam) The fireman and Dalmatian I'm kind of leaning towards, just because Chance is so in love with fire trucks and K loves dogs so I thought it would be something thing they would like to dress up as. I also like Raggedy Ann and Andy but they both probably wouldn't keep the wigs on. I need some help to decide!

We haven't been up to much, mostly swimming everyday and hanging around the house. I'm trying to get the kids to start learning their colors and numbers. So far Chance is into colors and K is into numbers. If Chance sees anything pink or purple he refuses to play with it and will say "sissy" over and over again til K has it.

Chance was not a fan of wearing this shirt at first but he forgot about it within 2 minutes, thank goodness because K hid my keys and we were running late.

We recently did a trial session at My Gym and both kids loved it! I want to get the kids in a structured class so they can burn out some energy, learn to listen to other adults directions and have interaction with other kids their age. They did pretty well so we signed up for the Fall. 2 sessions a week and a free play once a week, I can't wait til it starts!

Miss Cindy gave Chance a Thomas ballon and Thomas hat, he carried it everywhere and refused to take off his hat the whole next day. It was adorable!

We celebrated Kinley and Chance's 2nd birthday Sunday afternoon doing a cookout with friends and family. They got alot of awesome toys and had so much fun playing with everybody and of course diving into their cakes. Chance wanted to stay pretty clean, Kinley not so much. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!

Prepping for the big day!

We started baking Saturday since we had two cakes to prepare, thank gooddness I had Sean and Paul there! Paul is an amazing chef so I was very lucky to have him helping, Sean was the logic one who figured out how to put the cake together. I was in charge of the icing, I'm very happy how the cakes turned out but they were a little bigger than I anticipated.

Sunday morning Sean and I took the kids to a bounce house to burn some engery so they would take a little nap before people started coming over. They loved it, at first they both were unsure of it but once they went down the slide thats all they wanted to do. We will be going again tomorrow since it's suppose to rain all day!

2 little Monkey's Climbing out of bed

I posted this on accident a few days ago without any explanation, I took this video last week when I started finding Chance in K's bed. I wanted to know how he was getting in and out, after I saw the problem I rearranged the room, I did this 3 times and finally ended up having to change their cribs into toddler beds. The first 2 nights was crazy, I would find almost all of our clothes on the floor, every book off the shelves and both sleeping next to the dresser or door. By the 3rd night K realized it was better to sleep in her bed then the floor and Chance still refused to sleep in his bed. This week has started off a lot better, no clothes on the floor and both were alseep in their beds within 2 minutes!
