Summer Days are long!

Just recently Kinley and Chance have become a little wacky! I have heard plenty of stories of kids "in the terrible twos" and with the kids birthday right around the corner I'm starting think we might be in for some long days! Our daily schedules are pretty consistent, everyday we had to the gym,wednesdays and thursdays we head to swim lessons afterwards and then we might do a picnic at the park and then it's nap time! I was loving it! But they are having some tough days and on those days I don't get much of a work out in nor a break. At the gym they have started to cry when I drop them off so a teacher ends up having to come get me 10 minutes after. On Swim days Kinley starts crying within 4 minutes into our drive because she realizes where we are goin, then Chance starts crying even though he loves the pool. Chance has become overly attached to me where I'm carrying him or sitting next to him most of the day, if someone tries talking to him he grabs my hand and hides behind me. Usually when I'm holding him K wants to be held to but Chance won't share... so by the end of the day I'm totally worn out. I need 2 mommy's some days!!

Seaworld with the Family

We have season tickets to seaworld and we love to go whenever family and friends come to town. We were super excited to be able to go with my dad, Tammy and the boys, Chance loved being around the big boys. When he wasn't around Brayden and Pj he had to be right next to Grandpa Ho. I didn't get to many pictures because the kids were on the go but I did get an awesome video of Chance doing the Shamu dance, it makes me laugh everytime I watch it. The show was great and K even sat through the whole thing and cheered!

We don't get to see the Pecks much since they live out of state so when they come to Florida we try to hang out as much as possible. We met Kelley and Landon at a children's musuem that Kelley had found and it is perfect for any day to get out. It has little areas for the kids to explore and learn. We have never been to anything like it but we will definitely be going back. Chance really liked playing in the balls, and playing with Thomas trains, K loved running around and going down the slide and Landon did some dancing and playing basketball. It had everything! After a few hours of funning around we headed to the best chick-fil-a for a crazy lunch. K and C get so excited to see Landon they get the sillys

The next day we took the kiddos to the playground near by and Chance followed Landon everywhere, he has never wanted to swing before so once he saw Landon doing it he had to join in.

We came back and watched nemo and ate some lunch

After some full bellys the kids went back to playing, at one point Chance grabbed Landon hand and Landon held K's hand and they would run around. It was the cutest thing!

Landon came over the next day so Kelley and her mom could do some shopping. They played in the sprinkles, had a picnic and watched some signing time. We love hanging out with this little guy, we are going to miss Kelley and Landon when they leave this week!

4th of July in AMI

Every year we go to Anna Maria Island for the 4th. We love it down there, it's so relaxing and we always get to eat awesome food. My dad rented a house a few blocks from the beach so it was a nice walk everyday, I love going down there and spending time with family!

Saturday morning we took it pretty easy, I got to go for a quick run without the kiddos while everyone was getting ready for the town parade. I was a little unsure how K was going to do because she is afraid of everything but we wanted to go, the first 10 minutes she did ok, but then beads were being thrown and sirens were going off and then came a giant pirate ship that had fake canons go off every 5 minutes, so Kinley and I had to leave the parade early.

A Taste of Real Ice Cream

I have always been a stickler on the kids treats and desserts, I get made fun of pretty often because I call a graham cracker and goldfish treats. I'm trying to be a little more lenient and it usually happens when we are around Sean so the kids got to have a major dessert this past weekend.Let me just add the kids have had ice cream just sugar free. We took them to this new deli place that is known for having amazing ice cream, we let them try the two most popular kinds before purchasing. I didn't know how Chance would like it since he is the spitting image of me and would rather have apples than chips. But as you can tell from the pictures they both very much enjoyed it! We might start doing regular ice cream once a week! Chance had cotton candy and K had birthday cake... that one was my favorite!

The other day while we were shopping for Sean's birthday we saw this mini train, Chance deseparetly wanted to ride it but we couldn't because Kinley was too afraid. I felt so bad for him, all he wanted to do was say hi to the train but K was not having it so we had to wait for another day. We got to go back and he was loving every minute of it! Sean said during the ride he was chugging his arms saying choo-choo! After he was done he said "bye bye train" like a big boy with no fits!

Traveling a little lighter!

We use the B.O.B. daily and it tends to be a pain, there are plenty of stores I have to move things around or just can't go in. Breaking it down is kind of a pain because it always hit my shins and takes up alot of room in the car. But I love how easy it is to manoeuvre around and it's awesome to run with, it doesn't feel like I'm pushing 50 lbs around! Sunday night Tammy and my dad called and asked if we want to have their phil and ted, I'm so excited! Getting around is going to be so much easier! It doesn't take up as much room in my car and is a tandem. I was always concered for the child who had to seat in the lower seat, thinking they will get bored because they can't see anything, but Tammy said she never had an issue with it. So we will be strolling a little lighter and thinner!
